Nursery Staff Screening


The following procedure will be carried out for each candidate registering with Daraby's

  • Telephone interview with a childcare qualified consultant
  • For temporary staff we carry out Enhanced Disclosure checks - we will not register any candidate looking for temporary work refusing to complete a disclosure application form
  • Proof of identity must be supplied in the form of either a passport or birth certificate
  • Proof of National Insurance number must be supplied
  • Proof of current address provided - this is usually in the form of a utility bill
  • Proof of qualifications must be supplied by an original certificate
  • References will be taken for the last 3 years
  • Health questionnaires to be completed
